Small lies maintain friendship?
You know that your friend Tony has been dealing marihuana in the school's
smokers' corner. The teachers get wind of it and threaten severe consequences.
In the search for the guilty party, you are called in and questioned by the principal.
How would you react? And why?
I claim to know nothing about what's going on, because i don't want to betray my friend.

I say openly that Tony has been selling marihuana, because I think that's bad and I have often told him so.

I say that I know nothing about the matter, because I think so much fuss over a little marihuana is going too far.

I refuse to answer, because I don't want to betray a friend, but afterwards I confront him and try to talk him into confessing.

I say that Tony did it, because I don't want to have anything to do with the whole affair and under no circumstances do I want to fall under suspicion myself.
