In your clique, there is a girl, Kim, who doesn't really belong. But she is tolerated because everybody can copy her homework, have her carry their sports-gear or do other chores for them.
Today, at the lunch break, Jane, another girl from your clique, got up and demanded that Kim pay for everybody's lunch. At first Kim refused, but when Jane made it clear that Kim would no longer belong to the group if she refused, Kim paid up.
How would you react? And why?

I don't care. … I don't like it … I don't think it's right … I am shocked … I feel ashamed  …

I don't care. That's Kim's problem, not mine. I don't want to risk my own place in the group by standing up for her.

I don't like it: For me that's going too far. Demonstratively, I pay my own lunch.

I don't think it's right, but I don't say anything, because I don't want to endanger my own position in the group. Afterwards, however, I give Kim the money for my lunch in secret.

I am shocked, but at first I say nothing. Afterwards, however, I ask Kim if she doesn't feel abused. Why didn't she defend herself?

I feel ashamed of my clique and I say so openly. I don't want things like that happening in my group.
