At recess, there is high life in the classroom. Some people are in conversation, others are putting the last touches on their homework etc. By chance, you notice how one student uses the commotion to put his hand into the schoolbag of another student and pull out a mobile phone, which he stashes away in his pocket.
How would you react? And why?

I pretend not to notice anything and go about my business. I am not involved.

Although it is unpleasant for me, I confront the student and ask him what he is doing there.

I find the whole situation unpleasant and don't know what to do. Maybe I should just wait and see what happens. Perhaps the matter will resolve itself.
