Measuring sustainability with the “sustainable value approach”


The “sustainable value approach” attempts to evaluate the sustainability of corporation's way of doing business in monetary terms.
 

To that end, the sustainability performance of a corporation is measured by comparison to
• the resource efficiency of the line of business as a whole,
• the German domestic economy for the last years,
• the political goals for the year 2010.
