Sustainability

Sustainability comprises three areas:

Ecological sustainability: Preservation of biodiversity, protection of the climate, cultivation of natural and cultural habitats, careful interaction with the environment.

Economic sustainability: A way of doing business that insures long-range returns and a solid basis for enduring prosperity.

Social sustainability: Questions of distributive justice, e.g. equal access to opportunities and resources. The goal is the share of all citizens in education, prosperity, health etc.

Corporate Sustainability means in this comprehensive sense corporate management that ensures the ongoing character of the company.
