The United Nations Declaration of Human Rights – 1

In the wake of the experience of two world wars, the global community sought to establish a new foundation for international law.
 
On 26 June 1948, the United Nations was established in San Francisco, USA, as a league of sovereign states pledged to cooperation. On 10 December 1948, the General Assembly passed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
