Jesus proclaimed the coming of the Kingdom of God. God’s will is to love God and your neighbour, indeed your enemy, as you love yourself.
He practiced solidarity with those of other beliefs, with the poor and the marginalized.
He performed charismatic healing on the sick.
He relativized the Jewish religious laws:
the law is for the sake of the person and not vice versa.
He prophetically provoked the Temple-establishment and the business interests (purging of the Temple)
He publicly confronted the religious leadership (Jews) and the political authorities (Romans).
For this he was tried and sentenced to
death on the cross.
