Inspired by the book “Global Responsibility”, the organizers of the congress ask Hans Küng to formulate a “declaration” describing the elements of a common ethic.
In a process of inter-religious consultation, the “Global Ethic Declaration” takes form. At the “Parliament” in September 1993, it is endorsed by the majority of the delegates.
